Vacuum Packing
Vacuum Packing is a method that removes air from the AL foil prior to sealing. This method involves placing items in an Aluminum foil package and removing air from the inside sealing the package.
The intent of vacuum packing is usually to remove air from the vacuum bag to extend the shelf package forms. This packaging method is used to protect the product from corrosion or rust.
It is preferred for seaworthy and airworthy export shipments which take months to reach the destination where the humidity is maximum. High humidity in the atmosphere causes rusting to the product. Vacuum packing prevents the product from oxidation by establishing a layer of thin film between the atmosphere and the product.
